Sustainability Communication through Bio-Based Experiential Learning

Sustainability-related communication involving youth and children continues to be difficult practice effectively sustainably. This study examines how effective a particular approach sustainability is at raising children’s environmental awareness through an educational program. Participatory action research storytelling as narrative paradigm were used examine the effectiveness of bio-based experiential learning. A total 74 students (ages 9 11) from Bandung, Indonesia, participated in Twenty parents also providing feedback for campaign on change their behavior towards environment. The outcome demonstrates that learning activities provides with valuable education. are taught about urban farming, awareness, social responsibility. In long run, it hoped will motivated start environmentally friendly business, particularly biotechnology environment, foster sustainable city.
